You may be wondering how a Herd of Siberian Huskies conducts a homecoming celebration, so we thought we would share our version.
After a week of picket lines and leash walks, a massive zoomie game was the first required event. We raced and raced and raced around the yard playing one of our favorite games – “tackle-wrestle-bitey face-body slam-tag you’re it.” Trust us – this is a really awesome game.
Once the chase games settle down, we move to full contact Siberian wrestling. Ok, sure, this game has a whole lot of similarities to the first game, except all of the action is confined to the porch. Well, until it isn’t and we return to zoomies in the yard and the first game.
In the excitement of the games, sometimes a player might commit a foul. That is why we always have a referee. In this case, Frankie called a flagrant foul – and that entailed a chase through the yard which takes us back to game one.
Nothing like a good homecoming celebration after a week at the beach.
