Comfort Is Hard To Find

You have seen us work and hike, and now you will see how comfort is hard to find around Chez Herd. We expect lots of sympathy.

What is wrong with this picture?

What is wrong with this picture?

Can you believe that Cheoah has to suffer through such poor living conditions? Just look at that picture above and notice all of the things wrong.

This folded blanket has an uncomfortable wrinkle.

This folded blanket has an uncomfortable wrinkle.

How is a girl supposed to be able to nap when a blanket is not folded perfectly. But that’s not all. It gets much, much worse.

The fire is not roaring enough.

The fire is not roaring enough.

Sigh. Such lack of basic comforts is just shocking.

Natasha continued to grow her lead in donations to $423.75 and total contributions have hit $960! Only a few days until Valentine’s Day, so mail your valentine to Dog’s Name, PO Box 1835, Maggie Valley, NC 28751. And, if you wish, enclose a check made payable to Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation. Your donations will help homeless dogs and cats like Zac:

Zac is a Beagle Bulldog mix boy only about a year old. What a face this guy has! Those big eyes melt your heart, and he is super sweet too

Mud Freckles

January 10, 2009 |

Lots of snow, lots of rain, muddy roads, four-wheel drive, and an open jeep window.  This is when a dog should not hold their head out of the window, as demonstrated by Natasha and Kodiak as they show off their Mud Freckles.
