Sheltering From The Storm

The large rain system that has been moving across the country arrived in our area Wednesday, so we were sheltering from the storm in the den. So, of course, Hu-Dad was busy taking pictures.

Rain and wind sound intense - sheltering from the storm

That rain and wind sound intense.

Cheoah was apparently unimpressed with the movie the humans were watching, because she was slowly drifting off to sleep.

Fading. Fading. Fading.

Fading. Fading. Fading.

You have to give Cheesewhiz major style points just for the paw placement during napping. Let’s check that out closely.

Bonus point for paw placement.

Bonus point for paw placement.

Typhoon goes for a much flatter sleeping position – sinking into the couch cushions.

Sinking. Sinking. Sinking.

Sinking. Sinking. Sinking.

Of course, the Munchkin is sensitive and was offended at the camera clicking. He repositioned himself and shot Hu-Dad a dirty look when the camera snapped again.

Go away. You are bothering me.

Go away. You are bothering me.

And thus ended the photography session.

Love it! And both – I mean, all three – positions look rather familiar to anyone who knows dogs!

Where has sweet Kiska been lately? I miss her.

Mom sez: Typhoon’s second sleeping position is the same as Ebby’s. Curled into a tight little “doughnut”, nose tucked under tail like it was 50 below or something. Ice, on the other hand sprawls right out, full length, preferably ACROSS the doorway with the most traffic!
