We have had measurable rain 12 of the last 14 days, so it has really felt soggy. Fortunately, we are getting a few days of glorious weather through the rest of this week, so sunny days are here again.
Our morning dawned with crystal clear blue skies. That thick valley fog burned off within the first couple of hours of the day. After our rainy, dreary weather, today’s weather felt special and we all wanted to celebrate it.
We wanted to spend the bulk of the day outside and left Hu-Dad to work in his study uninterrupted. Don’t worry, total silence is so unusual it does not make him more productive. He tends to keep checking to see if we are up to something.
He shouldn’t worry at all with Chief of Security Kiska on duty. She tracks the movement of any creature – other members of The Herd, wildlife, munchkins. Wait . . . munchkins?
Yes, yes, yes, the littlest member of The Herd is always sticking his nose somewhere it doesn’t belong.
