Eye on the Prize

Hu-Dad was walking through the house when he noticed the Frankie was very focused – his eye on the prize. But what had his attention?

Frankie's eye on the prize.

Frankie’s eye on the prize.

Must be something really good because Hu-Dad called Frankie’s name and he didn’t react at all. Hu-Dad had to move to another window to see what held Frankie’s attention.

Ever get the feeling you are being watched?

Yes, sorry Mr. Bunny, but Frankie does seem to be willing you inside the fence. Mr. Bunny did not accept the invitation.

Come on, bunny. Let's play a little game.

Oh, my Cocheta did LOVE rabbit. We have a bit of ‘forest’ inside our fence so rabbits wandered in (that was in NC) she loved catching her own supper. The rest of the pack (eight of them) not so much, Ms. Cocheta would NOT share you see. 🙂

Hey Frankie it’s Koda from Va Beach here. I have a bunny who lived under my dads tool shed that’s on cinder blocks out back. Boyyyyy it’s so much fun to try to play with the little bunny. I have been trying all summer but I keep tryin’.
My problem is usually my mom. When she “catches” me as she says I’m in trouble. But see the thing is is that like all huskies when they are 5 yrs old I’m so fast that mom can’t catch me. So that means I get a few more minutes of bunny tracking or chasing before I trot off in the house.
Oh do you do this? When I get to the sliding door that’s open I run in and the peek my head out and call mom “woof mommmmm come on woof you’re too slow I’ve been woooooof in the house forever ever waitin on ya wooooooof!”
Bark to ya another day. It’s bed time here so before mom gets off her phone I’m gonna go get in my spot on the bed the one she says is her spot woof woof woof??????

Hu-Dad says our bunny games are way too short if one of them actually gets inside Sibe Quentin. He says it is sort of like Hotel California – “You can checkout anytime you want, but you can never leave.” Though, every now and then, one of them makes it to the gate before we do.
