The weather forecast yesterday was for afternoon thunderstorms, so we had a plan of starting out early and being back to the house by mid-day. Great plan, but Mother Nature had other plans and we hit a rain delay. The showers arrived in the morning, but we still made it out for a walk in the afternoon.
Woo-hoo – family walk despite the rain delay.
So other than the timing, it was a very normal Herd Sunday.
Well, normal for us, as Typhoon did part of the walk backwards.
Because we were late in the afternoon, the Hu-Dad decided to stop on the way back to the house and get some dinner. Well, some dinner for him while we guarded the Jeep.
Hey – guarding is hard work.

I’ve been following your blog on and off for quite a while, but been one of those bad people who don’t comment. (I always find it awkward to start commenting after some time!) I remember the antics of good old Rusty as well as when the Typhoon ripped through and stayed! I really enjoy the way you blog, and your stories about Nikita.
Decided I really have to comment now since I gave a nod of thanks to you in my blog post today, as you’ve always reminded us about a certain piece of wisdom…
P.S. Even though I haven’t stopped by for a while, I only mixed up Typhoon and Kiska’s Ears!

Yup I had the bros mixed up but now looking closer I can’t imagine why I did. Because I know how much Tyty hates have his fur touches so the extra fluffies should been a dead give a way haha.
