Sun and Cheese

Beautiful Day

Beautiful day. What should I do?

The last few days have been cold, but Friday turned about to be sunny, beautiful, and relatively warm (a high of 30ºF or -1ºC). Seemed like a perfect day of sun and Cheese – Herd Style.

Thursday sunrise

Beautiful sunrise over Chez Herd Thursday morning.

Now, of course, we are talking Cheoah who keeps extending her outside time as her leg continues to strengthen from TPLO surgery. In fact, she has even begun to reclaim a favorite Herd spot – the picnic table.

Ahhhhh. This I have been missing.

Of course, now that we have talked about sun and cheese – Cheoah is thinking some cheese snacks might be a good idea.

fetch some snacks.

Yay! I actually missed the picnic bench photos with her!

Harlow also highly recommends cheese puffs. They use those in agility to help encourage dogs over obstacles. I think Harlow has learned if she refuses doing something a few times those come out.

I’m so glad she can get out and about again. I’m happy for you both!

My question is, when do you think it will be safe for her to join back in with the boys and their Siberian Games?

I am so glad all is getting back to normal. I am sure the whole herd will be really happy when all is back to normal. That last picture is just gorgeous. She is an amazing dog. They all are really. Hugs and kisses to the herd.
