We hope you had a terrific holiday. Our Christmas present was exactly what we have been wanting for several weeks. With Natasha and Cheoah both having TPLO surgery for torn CCL’s just a few months ago, our hope was that everyone would be to the point to do family walks. So look what we did on Christmas Day . . .

This Week's Thundering Herd Special Features
Monday Musing
Weekly thoughts from our Hu-Dad with the latest updates on his writing projects, the books he's reading, and a gratuitous dog photo of us.
A Walk on the Trashy Side
June 4, 2023
Maybe my neighbors didn’t notice, but I took a walk on the trashy side last week and need to confess my mistake.
Way Back Wednesday
Each week, we reach back into our vault of over 4,700 previous posts and share a favorite. We hope you enjoy this look back.
That’s really clever of you Typhoon for making sure that Hu-dad is following the Herd! Merry Christmas to all of you from all of us.

And a Woo-woo to all of you walking together! How wonderful!
And as far as Typhoon…it looks like he just likes keeping his eyes on you!!
I love it! Is it all right for me to use the picture of Typhoon walking backwards in a post? I would of course, refer to this post. I’ve already mentioned in my blog that yours is one of my favorites.
With a link back to us, of course. Thanks for asking.
Mom & Ice BOTH say: Owwoooooo, how great to see EVERYSibe out there together again for a walk. Been quite awhile. (I’m not sure just what it is about the walking backwards thing, but lately, Ice has taken to sometimes walking backwards UP THE STAIRS, from our garage into the house. In his case, we just put it down to Ice going senile in his “old age” (12½ years), but Typhoon obviously doesn’t have THAT excuse (or reason)!
Well, someone has to keep an eye on you!
I’m glad everyone has recuperated well enough for walks! Yay!
Monty and Harlow
The answer is that Typhoon doesn’t understand why you are not being leader and not staying ahead of the pack so he can follow properly. 🙂
