Yesterday marked the four week anniversary since Natasha’s surgery and today is the one week mark since Cheoah’s surgery. Thus, it is time for our weekly TPLO Recovery update!
Cheoah is progressing very well one week post surgery. She has started trying to use the leg (which we don’t really allow with the sling as a support). She has finished with her pain medicine and doesn’t seem to have any discomfort. Hu-dad says the only problem is that she snores loudly and screams even louder when she wants something.
Natasha has a full range of motion in the leg and wants desperately to use it. She is still using the sling, of course, but Hu-dad has noticed a distinct effort on her part to make the bathroom breaks in the yard as long as possible. Hu-dad accuses her of trying to sniff every blade of grass in Sibe Quentin.

Way Back Wednesday
Each week, we reach back into our vault of over 4,700 previous posts and share a favorite. We hope you enjoy this look back.
I’m glad to hear such a great report. The last photo and caption really made me laugh!
I hope the hu-dad’s back is surviving the sling.
Get well Woowoos from here and hope Miss Grumpiness is back in charge soon with Cheesewiz following soon behind. Do you happen to have a straitjacket for Typhoon so he doesn’t break his sisters (or anyone else) again?
Ice sez: Poor ‘Tasha, hooooow embarrassing! Would you want YOUR bathroom habits discussed on-line? So happy to hear she and Cheoah are doing so well. Not much longer now, ‘Tasha!
Wow a month already! I know Natasha, it doesn’t feel like it to you, but it seems to have gone by quickly! You’re almost there!
