Snoozing Siblings

Yesterday was absolutely spectacular – sunny and cool for July, with a low of 49ºF and a high of 64ºF – so a perfect day for some snoozing siblings to enjoy the sun.  Frankie apparently wanted the sun more than Cheoah, but they both enjoyed the snuggly nap.

Mom sez: Finally, today, a respite from the heat that has hit the Peace Country. Not “that hot” to your standards, but to us here, it is! A week of 34 to 37 C. here (93 to 98 F.) has done us in. We’ve had every fan going, every door and window open, and our poor IceMan has taken up residence in the main bathroom upstairs, where he could get the most benefit of the “cross breezes” from everything. It finally broke last night, with a mega “Sound and light display” from above, then a “gully-washer” downpour, and now it’s settled into a nice, soft rain. A welcome relief for all the forest wildfires in our Province right now.

We have never seen temperatures that hot here and would totally melt. Been watching your wildfires and hope the rains get them under control.

We agree, that is perfect weather! It’s been hot and humid here!

I remain insanely envious of your weather… Only 102 today – lots of humidity… Next week we climb back up to 110.
