The other day, we showed how helpful The Herd was in the hu-dad’s office. The pictures implied they would be most useful as trip hazards of potential intruders. In the interest of fairness, we would like to show another side of the office work.
Our house is at the end of a gravel road. Other than a ranch hand driving through every few days or horseback riders, we have almost no traffic. Except, of course, if we are waiting for a package to be delivered by UPS or Fed Ex.
Hu-dad. Movement out front!

Oh, by the way, the vigilance has nothing to do with the fact that UPS also brings our food.

What food do your Husky’s eat? Our 5 month old Husky pup seems to have a very sensitive digestive system. We have him on Blue Buffalo Large Breed puppy, but he has only been able to go 1/2 and 1/2 with Science Diet I/D. We live in suburbia, and I’m not sure I could stomach the raw diet I hear about from some people. He’s not a big eater, at times actually seems aloof about the whole culinary experience. I do make him sit before he gets to eat, as I see you do in your video. We also have a Yorkie (who is the Alpha, as she is 9, and was here first.) She’d eat his food if allowed, but has food allergies. Lots of work, these dogs. Love your set up.

I would suggest joining a group called Sibernet-L (Google it and you will find it). They are the most knowledgeable Siberian Husky group out there and can give you some great advice about digestive issues.
Ice sez: Well, a Sibe’s gotta keep track of what’s happenin’, doesn’t he? I regularly keep tabs on our whole neighbourhood out OUR big livingroom window! I always let the hu-Mom & Dad know when Canada Post is coming up the driveway!

The question I have is, has the UPS guy meet the herd personally? I would not be able to resist if I were him! Or her!
