Spring Walks

Don’t you love the month of March? Friday, we had snow and winter. Saturday, we had sunshine and spring. We just go with the flow so yesterday was a great day for spring walks.

Of course, Typhoon and Frankie had to mug for the photographer.

Don’t worry, the Cheesewhiz was with us.

whole Herd

Well, actually, the entire Herd was with us. What’s the fun unless you have all of your brothers and sisters.

Natasha was quite proud that we all walked so well together.

warm spring day

Qannik says a long walk on a warm spring day is tiring.

Miss Kiska says, tired or not, she knows how to pose for the camera.

Mom sez: A “new concept” — everyone walking in perfect harmony today. Looking so well-behaved and happy about it, too! Well done, Herd!

Natasha looks SO regal, like she really is proud of her “minions”, and Kiska is VERY photogenic, and she DOES know how to pose. Awwww, heck, they’re ALL beautiful!

We’ve been finding we already have to get up earlier and earlier for our walks – we finished at 9:30 yesterday and it was getting hot. Sigh… 115 degree weather here we come…

I have a question. When all 6 are walked like that do you hold the leashes or are they attached somehow. A friend of mine back home has 4-5 dogs and has a belt that the leashes attach to. Just curious because Koda is a terrible walker he yanks pulls and tugs so that I end up sore in the end. (I know we need a class myself just as much as him but no time to do it).
