Fallen Giant: Requiem for a Walnut Tree
October 18, 2024
Hurricane Helene devastated Asheville and the surrounding mountains. Our walnut tree was but a minor victim of her wrath.
Mom sez: A “new concept” — everyone walking in perfect harmony today. Looking so well-behaved and happy about it, too! Well done, Herd!
Natasha looks SO regal, like she really is proud of her “minions”, and Kiska is VERY photogenic, and she DOES know how to pose. Awwww, heck, they’re ALL beautiful!
She sure does! Always lookin gorgeous for her photos!!!!
have a great day!
አhusky hugz አfrum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
We’ve been finding we already have to get up earlier and earlier for our walks – we finished at 9:30 yesterday and it was getting hot. Sigh… 115 degree weather here we come…
Monty and Harlow
I have a question. When all 6 are walked like that do you hold the leashes or are they attached somehow. A friend of mine back home has 4-5 dogs and has a belt that the leashes attach to. Just curious because Koda is a terrible walker he yanks pulls and tugs so that I end up sore in the end. (I know we need a class myself just as much as him but no time to do it).
We use High Sierra Walk-A-Belts. We add strong carabineers that you can find at any good outfitter or on-line and the belts have lasted for years. http://www.whitepineoutfitters.com/catalog_page.cfm?queries_index=index10&title_bar=High%20Sierra%20Walk-A-Belt&ProductSubCodeID=146&ProductCode=4
