Ayla sez: Too much dignity to be caught counter surfing now. Ten years old, she KNOWS she’s special, and that the good stuff will come her way without having to be “sneaky” anymore. Like me ‘n Ice, she can tell there’s “sumpin’ good” up there without having to see it. Our noses know.

A Shark Attacked My Best Friend

June 20, 2025 - In honor of the 50th anniversary of the theatrical debut of the movie Jaws, the film that was the inspiration for these events, D. K. Wall recorded the story in audio and video. The original story was posted on October 9, 2022.

A shark attacked my best friend when I was 11. His screams were awful. The silence that followed was worse. I was alone in the ocean.

Enjoy it your way
