While the rest of The Herd has visited the ocean many times, this is Typhoon’s very first visit. Thought you would enjoy the “first” pictures as he saw the ocean.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Not to worry, we just took a chance at meet y’all while you were here. Hope the herd had a good time. We look forward to the pics.
Went by your site at HBSP, but the Herd was elsewhere. Was hoping to meet all and say hello. Maybe another time. Nice sign out front! Have a great time.
Oh, so sorry. We were here all morning and went out around noon, back around 4 today.
Oh – and if the Jeep was there, we had been out walking on the beach for an hour or so this evening.
I loved Bunny’s first reaction to the ocean, too! I’m glad you caught Typhoon’s on camera. I think the boy is a natural born clown!
It took my Cisco some convincing that the ocean wasn’t going to eat her. …and then we couldn’t get her out again! Have fun!
Sam
See the reaction with some of their ‘firsts’ is always so interesting!
Aw, thanks for sharing such a special moment in Typhoon’s life with us! I think it’s a hit with him! 🙂
Bruce loves the water. We took him fishing over a year ago and Dad gave him a small fish to play with. He ate it and left an eyeball on the beach. Yucky. So now he always looks for fish, but he also loves to swim. I hope you all have a wonderful vacation. Hugs and kisses to the herd.
Ayla sez: Just remember, Ty, that water moves funny, but it also tastes funny, not like from your water bowl at home. Me’n Ice hope you have a wonderful time on the beach, and find all kinds of new stuff buried in the sand. (You, and the rest of the Herd, too!)
Woo are so lucki, little Buddi!!! Summ of us will never be bi the ocean. Have fun snoofin’ around.
Your pal, Summi
