A Rusty Tribute

Tribute to Rusty 1

Come on, Typhoon, join the others.

Tribute to Rusty 2

We were out for a walk on a closed for the winter bridge, when the Herd decided to do a little tribute to Rusty.

Rusty Tribute 3

A complete tribute, since Cheoah also hip-checked Typhoon and made him lose his balance.

P.S. – For newer readers, Rusty left us for the Rainbow Bridge late last fall. However, he was well known for his antics while out for our walks, including his wall walking skills. He would totally appreciate what the younger members of The Herd were doing during their walk and it sure made us smile. Hope it made you smile, too.

We will know if Rusty is doing a mind-meld thing if they all start doin’ the Rusty Strut! I really miss that cut-up of yours.

It may seem “weird”, but I fully believe the Herd knows something we don’t. Rusty DOES live on! I’m sure he’s standing on the Rainbow Bridge, grinning from ear to ear at the antics of the rest of the Herd who are following in his footsteps!

Made me smile & tear up a little bit! That boy, Rusty, was just so unique & he is really missed!

I’m in total agreement with you, Lisa. I felt exactly the same way. Big grin, and leaky eyes!

I agree Lisa. I smiled through tears. Rusty is missed!

Lovely tribute, Herd! Rusty is proudly watching over woo & having a good ha-roo at this!

Aww! Big grins here! I knew the walking antics wouldn’t end! 🙂

why do they call it a “hip check?” when we all know darn well it’s a “shove.” Is that just politically correct term? since when do sibes need to be PC?

I’m sure Rusty is smiling. He’s walking on his rainbow bridge looking to poke his nose in someone’s legs… 😉

Rusty is whispering Siberian mind tricks on the Herd :O) Yes, he would have LOVED the new kids!

  16. Kimberly Parker on February 26, 2013 at 2:54 am

It’s no secret that Rusty was my Herd favorite (although I love them all)–so when I saw this, I did indeed smile! Rusty would be so happy to know that his antics live on!

Love and sloppy Sibe kisses to the Herd (and to the members living north of the Rainbow Bridge as well)
