Rusty Remembrance – Who Has My Bully Stick?

Rusty over stairs
Just checking in on the action.

As we continue on our videos of Rusty, we wanted you to know what he sounded like – his famous “Woop.” And when Rusty finished his bully stick before Kodiak, Rusty was convinced that Kodiak got more. And so he protested.

Thank you for making me smile. I love Rusty’s Woos. What a character he was!

This video had all of the WDA in the room heads tilting and cocked attentively listening to his “protest song.”

    Oh Rusty!
We started reading right at the time you got Frankie. Frankie and Cheoah quickly stole our hearts with their antics. Rusty though, beat them out and won us over to his side with his quirkiness! You couldn’t help but smile and laugh looking at all your Rusty pictures and videos! He will be missed by us! The world is definitely duller without him.

Yup. he was quite logical. Juno ALWAYS measures her share against Loki’s. and dog forbid Loki finishes first!

Oh Rusty! Who could argue with your logic?

Rusty, Rusty…did he always finish his snacks so quickly? Was Kodiak the last one who still had bully stick? I see QTip was laying in his cage quietly.

My Elmo looks just like Rusty and makes the woop sound too but just one very loud woop. I hear a little more when I get off work late… I get a lecture from my husky dog!! 🙂

Because Rusty looked so much like my Elmo, it was very difficult for me to read about Rusty’s passing away. Like many others, Rusty drew me to The Thundering Herd website when I came across his picture when Google(ing) around for red husky pictures.

Actually, Rusty was notorious for being the slowest chewer of his Bully Stick. He LOVED sitting in front of the others and savoring his. Not sure why he finished before Kodiak in this particularly video, but we are sure Kodiak enjoyed turning the tables for once.

OMG, he is SOOO missed. I sit here crying through each video. His life was just one joyful “happening” after another. Ice ‘n Ayla both came into my computer room to see what Rusty was “aroooooooo’ing” about!

Ha ha ha! Oh, I was grinning until the part where it got to “A crime against the Rooster” and then I was laughing out loud! Rusty, we will never forget you!

What a cute guy!!..and so good to protest but not try and steal it. Looks like he came to hu-dad at the end for a bit of comfort.

Seems the video is missing again. I think Rusty is continuing to play tricks on you!

Ok, now that was weird. We actually double checked it last night before logging out.
