Rusty Update

Rusty 1

Rusty here. A number of you have asked how I am feeling and noticed I have not been in as many pictures.

Rusty 2

My spinal issues flared up and I was having problems with my balance. Through some blood tests, we found out my white blood cell count was way high and my red blood cell count was real low.

But those results are getting closer to normal (weekly blood tests – yuck) and it must be because of all the peanut butter I have been getting. Sure, I know the humans are putting something in the peanut butter, but, still, it is peanut butter so who can say no? Notice how I even get a special tray so I don’t have to bend over to eat.

Rusty in yard

My balance is much better so I am feeling good enough to get out in our yard.

Rusty high step

See, I can even get my high step going.

Rusty 4

So thanks for all of your good thoughts as I continue to get stronger.

I’ve been waiting for an update! I’m glad you’re feeling better. Since that peanut butter is so magical, I think you better keep eating it every day. Also, being handfed breakfast in bed isn’t a bad option, either!
