Ready for the Weekend – and Winter

Jeep

Sure, we are loaded up in the Jeep and ready for a weekend of adventure.

Wood pile

But the hu-dad is also making sure our wood bin is full before the winter begins (and, yes, that is 2 logs deep).

Oh Dog! I sure wish I lived where it’s cold. Jen doesn’t like cold and we’ve moved further south to Florida! *gasp*

Much as it’s nice to be all packed up and loaded for a weekend of adventure, it’s good to have a nice, toasty, warm place to come back to.

Goodness me that is a neatly stacked load of wood!

Part of that OCD is that the wood bin is OUTSIDE the dog area. Nikita taught me that when she drug firewood from a stack, piled it up in a corner of the fence, and then climbed over it to go exploring.
