Make noise on the trail so you do not surprise a bear while out hiking. A surprised bear can ruin a good hike.

Lots of black bears around here. They prefer to stay out of your way, so you just want to let them know you are on the trail.
If you’re going to wear it, make it count!
Bet the bear is glad to have the warning that the Herd is on the march.
