Snow Walking

We promise, the hu-dad is working on putting together pictures from this past weekend’s Winterfest event hosted by Siberian Husky Assist.  If he actually stops being lazy, maybe we will have Winterfest Wednesday!  In the meantime, we thought we would share our other big news from this past week – actual snow.  Ok, not a lot of it, but winter has been so slow coming that we are enjoying the little snow we have.

Frankie Natasha Kiska

The black and white team (L-R - Frankie, Natasha, Kiska) is enjoying their snow walk.

Natasha says it is worth a good shake.

And even getting out of order (of course, when you are the Queen, you set the rules).

red team snow

The Red and White team maintained decorum.

Snow sniffing

Well, except for that whole snow sniffing thing.

Cheesewhiz Snow

Everything else was normal, right, Cheesewhiz?

Rusty normal snow

Well, at least Rusty normal.

P.S. – Our Alaska friends could ship all of their excess snow.  Really.

It is nice to finally see the Herd walking on (frozen)water! We have all been waiting so long for this to happen this winter. Hopefully now that it is started snow will seriously come your way.

Our dad has decided that where ever we go, snow doesn’t. Now that we don’t live there Seattle is getting tons of snow. Before we lived here, C’ville got tons of snow. We are a jinx.

The whole gang looks just sibelicious. Nothing brings a chuckle better than Rusty doing his Rusty walk.
We need snow badly here too!
Hugs from Sitka & his mom, Lisa

Rusty “normal” always makes me laugh out loud!

  11. Huffle Mawson on January 17, 2012 at 4:38 pm

Ah Rusty. You never let us down with your Rustyness.

  12. Stacie on January 17, 2012 at 1:49 pm

OMG! I love Rusty, his ability to walk between your legs is pretty impressive. And more impressive that the humans don’t get tripped!

I’ll trade ya some of our snow for your warmth? It’s currently around -40 here! EEK!

  13. The OP Pack on January 17, 2012 at 12:14 pm

Even though we wish we had snow, we really love seeing you all in the snow with the added bonus of a Rusty move:)

If that snow from Alaska can’t make it all the way to you, they could drop it here! 😉 Actually, we got a little snow yesterday and we’re supposed to get more this week – Mom is already grumbling about the commute, but we’re looking forward to REAL snow zoomies!

Hee hee! I love Rusty normal! It’s always my favorite, and it still hasn’t gotten old!

  17. Ice 'n Ayla on January 17, 2012 at 3:10 am

Yup, everything’s normal – even Rusty is back in “normal mode” (for him). Glad you’ve got some snow at last. We’ve got very little in Dawson Creek right now, though it’s all around us.
