Walking on the Beach

What would a beach week be without a video of the dogs at the beach, particularly a video of Frankie with his first ever impression of the ocean? Hope you enjoy.

Frankie was born to be one of the Herd! And the Queen? Well, she IS the Queen!

Queen Natasha is a true Siberian, no rules on the road her feet touch, she will walk where she wishes:)

How we wish we could take a stroll on the beach too.

If Frankie can get used to the random action of the Natasha wave, he may yet get used to the wet waves. 🙂

I loved Frankie’s reaction to the ocean! Hope you guys had a great Christmas. 🙂

Very cute video. The music is quite fitting. 🙂

Couple of questions — DID Frankie ever master those waves, or is that going to take a couple of trips to the beach? The other, how does Queen Natasha ever keep that beautiful fluffy tail when she’s on the beach? Does she NEVER get “wet and bedraggled”?

Frankie, like most of The Herd, says he sees no point in wading in that ocean water. Queen Natasha is quite fine with getting her feety-feet wet, but never allows water above her ankles. Kiska will also usually wade in the water, but showed no interest this time.

You guys rock! That was great and I’m sharing over on my FiveSibes Facebook page! I love Queen Natasha’s strolling technique – how she falls back and circles around to be sure everyone is in line (I like to think that anyway!) Fun day at the beach…even if Frankie isn’t too sure about those waves! Hu-Dad – love your distraction technique!

I’m reminded of an Old English Sheepdog we once had who tried her best to protect us from the waves rushing toward us. She would bite them most viciously and they would leave…only to return.

It appears that Frankie was successful in keeping his feet dry! You just can’t trust those shifting waves.

Natasha, if you were human, people would be asking how much liquor you’d had before you got on the road!

You might have a landlubber on your hands! His water dish will never look the same. I’m thinking it’s probably a good thing if Natasha never gets a driver’s license. Thank goodness she’s royalty and can have a chauffeur! Congratulations Frankie on your first ever beach excursion!

Oh, Frankie, it’s okay, the waves won’t hurt you! Hope he learned to enjoy them.
