You said it! It’s even good to swim in if you have enough!

Gotta catch up on my posts because we were out on vacation!

    Vote Taysia Blue!

I have to agree with the Kodiak, but I’m not so flexible in my drinking habits. You see… I have OCD, and it takes me an eternity to drink anyway, but it MUST be from a FULL and FRESHLY FILLED stainless steel bowl… Otherwise, I will die of thirst.

So happy to see the Herd has no problem will mobile drink!

    with love from the Bleu

A nice drink of water is the best especially when you have your very own bowl. 🙂

Kodi found the watering hole! I don’t think he feels like sharing!

There’s a Winnipeg Human Society? I wonder what you have to do to adopt from them? 😛

We vote for Quad Cities again!

    Great water bowl.
Throwing it to Joplin Humane Society..

  10. Sage on May 28, 2011 at 3:25 pm

You bet! Water is the best. And lots of it on hot days.

After the disaster in Joplin, I’m sure the Joplin Humane Society could use all the help they can get. Put my vote on them!!

Thanks so much for sharing your contest! Love your husky pics – we have a video on our blog of our husky basking in his kiddie pool – I really didn’t know how much huskies like water!

Good to meet you – I’m stopping by on the blog hop this morning. Stop by Pet-Peeves.org because you might enjoy my video – “The Bad Dog Blues.”

looks like nobody better miss with Kodiak’s water!

We love all the rescues but sending some help to Joplin Humane society seems very timely, indeed!

    Happy, Waggin’ Tails, FUREVER!

  19. Niko and daniel on May 28, 2011 at 8:39 am

Cool drinks of water are great! But, since you all get lots of snow, you should try more swimming in the non-snow months to stay cool year round! That is our Texas husky trick.
    Happy posting!

Keep cool, Kodiak! Only 5 more posts to go, wow! 1,000! That’s awesome – let’s see, I did TOTTSHR, Florida Husky Resuce, so here is my vote for today – The Husky House in NY (http://www.huskyhouse.org/adopt/)!

  21. huskymom on May 28, 2011 at 8:00 am

Hope The Herd has a great weekend. We will be trying to keep cool with temps in the 90s–ick.

Keep Tails of the Tundra Siberian Husky Rescue in the game for the drawing.

Jericho came to live with “the puddle” when someone threw him out of a car near a friend’s house. We have come to love the only dog we know who sheds more than the puddle bassets. Since we don’t know the particulars about Husky rescue, we nominate Carolina Basset Hound Rescue.

  23. Wild Dingo on May 28, 2011 at 7:04 am

wow. the TTH and the hu-dad are bigger pups and peeps than us! i think we’re on something like 337 posts…

good luck at all the charities!

  24. Holly & Khady on May 28, 2011 at 1:56 am

Nice that he has his very own bowl of cool water!

Our nomination of for Taysia Blue of course!

  25. Cairo on May 28, 2011 at 1:56 am

Is that a lid on your water bowl?
I’m going to vote for SPCA of York County PA because even though my mom complained during the full 2 years that she lived in York PA, it’s still a wholesome place to raise a family and they need the help.

  26. siku marie on May 28, 2011 at 1:28 am

It is almost upon us! The holiday weekend first and THEN your 1000th post! Life doesn’t get better than this. Have a grand adventure this weekend, but be safe.

    Sarges.
