Rusty Games at Big Ridge State Park

Our latest video was filmed last weekend at Big Ridge State Park during our camping trip. Our original goal was to capture a film of all 8 members of The Herd and The Herd Annex walking together. But the fun of a group of Siberian Huskes is that nothing ever goes as planned. In this case, Rusty – we know, shocking that it was Rusty – decided to make the video about something totally different. As we have done so many times, here is a video of Rusty being Rusty.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Try to be a Rusty this weekend – don’t worry what everyone else thinks you should do.

Great funny video!!! Awesome! Hilarious Rusty! Way to go!!!

  2. RADINKA on May 8, 2011 at 12:11 am

Just seeing anything that has to do with Rusty makes my day and always makes me smile. I love everything about him, to the funny horse trot walk he has, to being the class clown and always making things funny and interesting for the Herd. What a perfect little soul in a perfect little body 🙂

  3. Sagira on May 7, 2011 at 11:59 pm

Oh my…this made my mom laugh out LOUD! That was SOOOOO funny. Rusty is such a goofball.

  4. FiveSibesMom on May 7, 2011 at 7:44 pm

I loved the “Rusty Games!” First I giggled, then I just had to share it on the FiveSibes’ Facebook page! Go Rusty!

  5. Carolynn on May 7, 2011 at 1:38 am

Oh my goodness that is hysterical! Why does he do that? I am giggling, seriously giggling…so funny!

  6. siku marie on May 7, 2011 at 1:10 am

Stop! You are scaring dad about the new bigger and better White Dog Army and when all five of US go walking for the first time tomorrow!

  7. Holly & Khady on May 7, 2011 at 12:39 am

Oh my! And, I thought I had a weirdo living with me by the name of Samuel. I think you win that award! Rusty is so funny! We howled with laughter the whole way through the video!

For some reason the video won’t play for me. Oh well, I can well imagine what Rusty gets up to!

  9. NCMountainwoman on May 6, 2011 at 8:06 pm

Guess you can always count on the rooster to shake things up a bit. I’ve never seen anything like it, but I think Rusty knows which dogs will tolerate that and which ones will put him in his place.

  10. The Army of Four on May 6, 2011 at 6:11 pm

Ha roo roo roo! Rusty, Mom thinks you’re a RIOT! …and at the same time wonders “why” you do that…
You can count on me to do something Rusty-esque this weekend!
    Play bows,

All I ever have to do for a good laugh is to look at your header, on down to the right and see Rusty and Cheoah walking along in march-time. With a determination to be the best walker guys in the line, or trying to figure how to get out or singing something, Marching along togetherrrrrr, rump te tum te ta ta ta!

  12. Sychoberians on May 6, 2011 at 4:33 pm

Rusty is just too awesome. Relax Qannik, who made you boss.

  13. The OP Pack on May 6, 2011 at 2:50 pm

Some of the pack may see Geese, but Rusty says “Goose, there I gotcha.” wish you could have heard the Momster laughing out loud here.

Maybe Rusty is trying to create an agility course there, you know, looking for some tunnels:)

    Rusty cracks me up!

  16. Ice 'n Ayla on May 6, 2011 at 11:47 am

That Rusty is so totally unbelievable! He’s even “quirkier” than my Dad, Ice! There must be something in his past has caused his “desire to march to the beat of his own drummer”, as the saying goes.

  17. jack & moo on May 6, 2011 at 10:21 am

LOL! That is sooo funny! Great that the hudad caught it on film. Thanks fur the laughs, Rusty!

    (we LOVE Huskymom’s comment!)

I have never laughed so hard at a silly doggie in my life. That Rusty–he puts the C in Character doesn’t he? 🙂 I have passed it on to a friend who could use some doggified cheering. I’ll be smiling all day thinking of that silly boy.

  21. houndstooth4 on May 6, 2011 at 8:14 am

I am laughing so hard! Oh, Rusty, this is why I love you! Maybe he needs one of those big lumberjack hats on his head to keep his ears warm. I didn’t think Rusty could get any funnier, but this proves me wrong!

  22. huskymom on May 6, 2011 at 7:24 am

“Rusty the Rooster” has become “Rusty the Gooser”! At least his red team targets were tolerant. But what will QNTE do?

  23. Khyra on May 6, 2011 at 6:18 am

    Oh please oh please –

Make sure the video is rolling when he attempts THAT with QNTE 😉

PeeEssWoo: Rusty – just woofing it makes me smile!

  24. Lexi and Jasper the Danes on May 6, 2011 at 2:00 am

*hehe* we love it! We and our human were giggling all the way through!

We have a question…is there a particular reason why Rusty does that to both human and dog?

    Licks and lots of slobber,

    • D.K. Wall on May 6, 2011 at 5:55 am

No reason that we have ever figured out. It just seems to amuse him.

  25. 24 Paws of Love on May 6, 2011 at 1:15 am

Interesting! Rusty always has to have a spin on things or at least get under them! 🙂 Have a good weekend.
