Way Back Wednesday
Each week, we reach back into our vault of over 4,700 previous posts and share a favorite. We hope you enjoy this look back.
Visit Millerton, a fictional small town near Asheville NC, via D.K. Wall's novels. Ordinary people. Extraordinary events.
I enjoyed the pretty… thanks for the pics!
There is nothing finer than sitting under a Thinking Tree on a blue sky day and just soaking in the Universe!
It really is a cool tree. Even with no leaves!
Are you losing all your snow?
Holly
Has the big east coast snow storm moved into herd country yet? If not feel free to send them north for a week, they would be in heaven. 🙂
You should paint that tree – or have an artist do it…
Sounds like it was a nice stroll. 🙂
is the snow gone under your tree now?
It must be fun watching all the people ski and snowboard! That tree is HUUUUUGE!

We like your big strong tree too!
That is a gigantically, gorgeous tree. I see why it is your favourite! What a lovely day to take a stroll.
I know you love the snows, but I can’t wait to see the Tree when spring comes with those BRIGHT GREEN little leaves! So pretty!
Nothing beats a great Sunday stroll through the snow. We have our own BIG storm coming in tomorrow. We are so glad we finally got sprung from the spa so we can enjoy it now.

I can see from these photos that you have the same dichotomy in your world – areas that look almost bare and then areas that look to be fully in the grip of winter.
You must look forward to the buds and leaves of your tree every year.
That looks like a pretty perfect weekend to us! We’re curious to know about how far you hike every Saturday or Sunday.
I never get tired of seeing that tree! I admit it, I have tree envy.
Looks like you had the same beautiful Sunday that we had.
Is spring coming back soon?
What a nice stroll! We got robbed!! First it rained and then Mom had to take some dumb class online. Sheesh! At least SOME pack got to have fun today!
