Camera Avoidance

Hu-Dad thinks he is going to get my picture. I just won't look at the camera.

He moves in front of me, and I will just look the other way.

Nice try, hu-dad, but you missed.

Too fast for the hu-dad.

Oh, look, there are little words in the box below me.

  1. Wimsey on February 20, 2010 at 8:49 pm

Oh bravo! Wonderful camera avoidance technique, truly impressive.

  2. Dennis the Vizsla on February 20, 2010 at 1:39 am

The little words say “Denied”. I wonder what that means.

  3. Wild Dingo on February 20, 2010 at 1:29 am

Why the long face QNTE? is being queen not all that it’s cracked up to be?

  4. Mochi on February 19, 2010 at 11:14 pm

Woo! Great job! Too bad mom always gets me with treats! πŸ˜›

  5. Farley on February 19, 2010 at 10:50 pm

Nice work – I need to perfect this technique myself!

  6. Siku Marie, the White Dog on February 19, 2010 at 9:21 pm

Natasha, you look like you are taking an eye exam…you know when the dr. says “look right” “look left” “up” “now down”!:)

  7. Huffle Mawson on February 19, 2010 at 8:55 pm

Did you go to Stormy’s photo class by any chance? That is brilliant!

  8. NCMountainwoman on February 19, 2010 at 8:41 pm

Too funny! Enjoy the heat wave this weekend.

  9. Honey the Great Dane on February 19, 2010 at 6:08 pm

    HA! HA! HA! HA! πŸ˜†

I play that game too sometimes – it’s great for getting the humans REALLY frustrated! Hee! Hee!

And I love that last photo too! What were you really looking at??

  10. Sam on February 19, 2010 at 5:42 pm

I’m with Roxanne. LOVED the last pic!

  11. The OP Pack on February 19, 2010 at 4:18 pm

Natasha, you have learned to avoid that flashy box so well. We don’t like it either and have to work on teaching our little sister to do it too.

    Woos, the OP Pack

  12. Life With Dogs on February 19, 2010 at 4:11 pm

Have you ever wondered what we might spend on throwaway pictures were it not for digital cameras? I bet the dogs would love that. πŸ˜‰

  13. Roxanne @ Champion of My Heart on February 19, 2010 at 3:54 pm

I nearly spit water on my screen with that last caption. Maybe Swallow Now warnings are in order.

  14. Mr Koda MD on February 19, 2010 at 3:13 pm

    Excellent avoidance skills!

You are a role model to us all!

Natasha 5, Dad zip! No treats, no glory. Tsk tsk… Way to demonstrate a new hu-training technique. Thank you

  17. Mimi & Cabana on February 19, 2010 at 1:57 pm

Natasha is a super-model. She’s not going to pose for free!! Better break out the high-reward treats!

  18. Douglas the Dog on February 19, 2010 at 1:46 pm

You need to pose for pictures. I personally like to stop and smile when mommy has the camera out.

  19. Amber on February 19, 2010 at 12:15 pm

BOL….Mom sometimes doesn’t like it when I do this too but mostly I have taught her to embrace it and shoot me at different angles. πŸ˜‰

  20. Khyra on February 19, 2010 at 11:39 am

Doesn’t he realise how woo gave him a post?

    Humans are sooooo easily entertained!

  21. Anna the GSD on February 19, 2010 at 11:30 am

That’s a good way to give your peoples exercise, having them have to walk around you! You’re so good to them! πŸ™‚

  22. The Army of Four on February 19, 2010 at 11:20 am

Ha roo roo roo! You are SO good at camera avoidance! Way to GO!
    Tail wags,

  23. Kira The BeaWoootiful on February 19, 2010 at 10:05 am

Wooos Queen Natasha! I only look at the camera if Mum or Dad is holding cheese or something else good, why give them what they want without making them work for it?
    -Kira The BeaWootiful

  24. KB on February 19, 2010 at 9:27 am

Natasha – I have some bad news for you. I’ve concluded that some of the very best photos are the ones where you DON’T look at the camera. Ha! Your strategy doesn’t really mess up your Hu-dad, now does it?

My problem is that K sits and stares straight at the camera whenever I take it out. So, I have to sneak it out of my pocket to try to get some ‘real’ photos of what K is like when a camera isn’t out. She’s the opposite of you!

    Dog Save the Queen!

  25. Huskys Rule on February 19, 2010 at 8:29 am

My motto is… only look at the camera if you get a treat out of it..hehehehe.
    The Treat Hound,

  26. Houndstooth on February 19, 2010 at 8:16 am

She reminds me of our boy, Hawk! He was such a goofy guy, but all the pictures we have of him show him looking so GQ because he refused to ever look at the camera. He knew it would steal his soul! I also know he dreaded the flash for some reason. Natasha still looks beautiful!

  27. tula on February 19, 2010 at 7:49 am

i luv that game! Natasha is a real pro..
and you know how to read too. so smart:)

  28. Zoe on February 19, 2010 at 7:39 am

Good job, Natasha! You are a true role model.

  29. Martha and Bailey on February 19, 2010 at 3:55 am

Good work! Pity we didn’t know you when we were organsing a blog strike against the flashie beast!
You are a natural – keep up the good work.

  30. Holly and Khady on February 19, 2010 at 2:31 am

I see you are a graduate of SZK School of Siberian Studies “cooperating for photo’s” class!!! Stormy would be so proud of you!

  31. Sierra Rose on February 19, 2010 at 1:45 am

Nice work there on the avoidance!

    Hugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,
    Sierra Rose
