Wrestling with Cousin Tartok

Cheoah here!  As the youngest of The Herd, I rarely get to post on my own, but I had a really cool adventure last night.  We had been hiking all day, came home, had dinner, and I was curling up in my crate for a nap when the humans took me back out to  the Jeep.  Alone!

That is usually a sign of the V-E-T, but it was Saturday night.  Since when is the V-E-T open on a Saturday night?  But when we went across the valley, I went somewhere I rarely get to go.  My hu-grandparents house.  Yep, as we said on the blog yesterday, our hu-dad’s mom’s birthday was yesterday and I got to go to help her celebrate.  What a special present!

But that also meant that I got to hang out with my hu-grandmother’s Siberian, Tartok.  We have posted about him before and you can use the drop-down box on the right labeled “Categories” to find other posts about Tartok.  Anyway, we started out with a get acquainted walk:

He is really big and handsome, but I have never had one-on-one time with him like this.  It was really cool.  We went back to the house and he showed me around his spectacular deck:

With the formalities out of the way, it was time to wrestle.  Here I am doing my most ferocious pose.  What do you think?

But enough with the still pictures.  How about a little video action?

After all of that, I really had him worn out:

Ok, maybe I was a little tired, too:

It was an awesome way to spend a Saturday night.  And the best part?  When I got home, the rest of The Herd – they were really, really, really jealous.

I think you are better at wrestling than he is. You were totally winning! As I always say, brains not brawn.

Wrestling looks like so much fun! Since I don’t have a sibe sibling, I usually wrestle with mom. 🙂

Now, that’s one awesome deck – love the strategic placement of the beautiful rocking chair!!! That’s one way to protect the screens.

Tartok is a handsome pup – certainly fits in well with The Thundering Herd!!!
