We don’t know about the rest of you, but it suddenly seemed hot. We were all complaining about the heat of the trail Saturday and had to take several breaks during our hiking. Can we have our snow back?

Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?
October 29, 2024
Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.
It’s been hot AND humid down here in Texas! yuck. My huskies didn’t get much of snow this year but they are definitely yearning for the cold weather to come back. 85 degrees at dawn here. Our walk at the parks got a bit shorter so i’ve been been supplementing w/ a stroll thru petsmart (in the a/c, hehe).
Oh, yeah. Not only hot but humid as well. Gotta stop for water breaks often. But it’s not enough for me to wish for snow.
I am with you pups! Where is that snow? I live near the OP Pack so as they pawed – hot, humid, storms, heat. Blah! I think my human did not understand I was a Malamute when she moved me here.
Hope it cools down for you pups so you can enjoy your walks without all the heat breaks.

Mom and I are right there with woo!

Our snow left us on Friday. *sigh* But it’s still only in the 50s, which is good as we haven’t had our first haircut of the summer yet… There is still lots of snow in the mountains, if you wanted to come out and visit, though… 😉

PeeEss: Mom says she’s sick of snow. Can you believe that?!? I think Mom is joking. Or she means something totally different than what her words mean…
Please, no more snow for a while! I am more than done with it for a while. I wouldn’t mind some nice seventy degree days for a month or two, though. We went from low seventies yesterday to ninety degrees today — the day we had to attend a high school graduation in an old gymnasium! Gah!

We wish the cold weather would come back also!!!!

We’ve been taking advantage of our AC vents! Woo.

Tell us about it!! We went from winter to summer in like two days flat. Really what happen to all our snow??
Summer is on its way! Winter has set in here, I am so sick of the rain and the cold.
It was real hot in Italy too…
28 degrees celtius here… I would have liked to have a swimmingpool to ly in…
Ciao Lucille 🙂
It always sneaks up too fast, we agree!
Oh-yeah!
Even me… who never get snow… want some right now!
Hmmm….
Kisses and hugs

You guys need to find youselves a nice cold creek you can lay in and get your furs wet. That always kewls me off when I get hawt hiking.
Oh yes, hot, hazy, and humid here and all those nasty storms looming. Give us some snow too.

We will spend the next few months yearning for the cool temps of fall and winter. Is there any satisfying us? I don’t think so.
Kisses,
Stella
Where we live, it isn’t THAT hot, 21 to 23C (mid-70’s F), and me’n Ice haven’t even started to blow our coats yet, so we also know what HOT is. Meanwhile, the damp, cool dirt in Mom’s garden looks good, but we sure don’t — Mom says we’re just “filthy”, and in need of a bath.
About same temp for us, but that is hot for us and we are blowing coat.
We don’t know about that here. We are looking at a 95 degree day (too hot to ride or take pups for a walk) but right now it is 65, and Mom is freezing…
Sigh…
Sam
Mid 70’s here. We never see 90.
This weather has been crazy. One day you need the a/c and next you need a coat.
Goodness me! If we have any this year in NZ I will gladly send it over for you to pack away for days like this…
Its cooling off here now and I am not enjoying the fact there is minimal sunbaking on offer…
Keep well pals!
Mesa has been taking frequent walk breaks too!
