Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?

Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.

It seems that an awful of hard structural work is being done without proper equipment. Where are the hard hats? yellow striped tape? grilled salmon?
Sorry Ruby, but we have to agree, wall support is a critical skill to have, I mean, without walls, what would counters be attached to?

I have had to do that to the wall on my balcony. It probably would have fallen down otherwise.
We have some of those talent skills as well. Can’t wait to see what the Hurd has done. Usually when destruction happens at our house, someone always will have something telling who did it. LOL Sniffs, The HoundDogs
P.S….You need to checkout our transport post we did with 2 bassets Saturday. The youngest one was pulling a Rusty while we walked him. All I could think of was Rusty when he started to do it. LOL

Yes, Greyhounds can spot another of their kind from a mile away and they definitely have a preference for their own kind. I’ve always attributed it to the fact that they only see their own kind at the track until they retire. When they see other dogs they must wonder if it’s an alien dog from another planet or some poor genetic reject! 😛 They do fine with other dogs, but definitely turn on when they see another of their kind.

There really is NO other harder working breed than us northerners!
Oh, and I already know what happened with the furry creatures. The evil squirrels snuck in and did it while the entire herd was napping! They are quite the elusive critters!
