Rusty’s Walk in the Park

Remember yesterday when we told you about our visit to the Mellowdrome - the old Atlanta Motor Speedway?

Rusty thought the thick concrete ledge around the race track was a great place to walk.

But what do you do when the wide ledge ends?

Why you walk on the narrow ledge of course.

There is normal and there is Rusty Normal.

I’d love to be as normal as Rusty! It looks like you have a secret agility dog on your hands. My dog, Acadia, who was a search and rescue dog had to do all sorts of crazy obstacle courses (more extreme than normal agility courses) – and she was like Rusty – she found the most difficult way to navigate during easy strolls. She even walked along the top of a fence once! (I’m not kidding! Sadly, I had no camera with me).

Rusty, I love how happy you look! Whatever Rusty normal is, I think it’s a good state of mind. I can’t imagine there are many dogs who enjoy life more than you!

well, at least he puts a paw out to check and make sure it’s safe or not… a pup never knows… he may be silly, but not stupid!

  19. Martha and Bailey on February 7, 2011 at 5:10 am

Well Rusty, we admire your pioneering spirit – why walk the same way as the rest of the pack!!!
    love
