Landon briefly paused his boom booming around the back yard long enough for monitoring the neighborhood duties.
Yes, Landon bounces and plays in the yard, but sometimes he needs to pause long enough to check in on the neighbors. The humans and canines are interesting enough, but this was the deer neighbors and they are very, very fascinating.

Landon, I bet you surprised hu-dad when you first stopped moving. I wonder what plans you are hatching?
Juno got to encounter elk, mule deer, alpaca, goats, coyotes and horses. She would freeze and stare, trying to figure them out. She was the most excited around horses. That told me something about some innate communication with them in particular.
Queen Natasha adored horses. Of course, she loved seeing the horses when we drove through the ranch next door to us in Maggie Valley, but she also knew all the other fields around the county that had horses. She would sit up in the car at least a quarter of a mile in advance looking for them.
Gotta keep those wild beasts in your sights to keep Chez Herd safe!!

Landon-I have often wondered what our dogs THINK about deer? Are they big dogs? I hope you enjoyed pausing for a while to observe them!
