Hu-Dad would like to point out we have air conditioning and plenty of indoor spaces for a cool nap. so he does not understand Typhoon’s choice.
As our temperatures hover in the mid-to-upper 80’s under bright sunshine, Hu-Dad makes sure we have plenty of water and comfortable indoor napping spots with air conditioning. And, yet. Typhoon decided sprawling in the hot sun was the perfect place to sleep.
Being the Little Prince, we’ll give you one guess of how he reacted when the Hu-Dad suggested he come inside where the air was cool.
P.S. – Don’t worry. Hu-Dad made him come inside, grumbling about the unfairness-of-it-all and everything.

Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?

Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.

Maybe that grass and dirt felt cool to him, lay down hu-dad, try it out, give Typhoon the camera for a bit. Opps. Maybe coming inside was a better idea!
My two dogs Fiona and Silver used to lay on the hot wooden deck when it was 90+ and ungodly humidity. In fact I have a pic of them panting in sync. Crazy dogs!
Does Typhoon have arthritis? Sometimes older dogs with it like to nap in the sun. I had a Norwegian Elkhound mix who had arthritis and liked to do this when she got older.
Also, according to what I’ve read, double coats protect dogs from heat as well as cold.
Or maybe Typhoon is just being contrary as usual!
Thanks for so much enjoyment seeing the Herd. My Rebel does the same thing and I have to make him come in, glad to know he is not the only one that complains when I do that. Thank you for advising me of how to contact Microsoft about calling you an unsafe link. I did write to them.
Crazy Huskies do have a habit of falling asleep in the hot sun. Never could figure that one out.
AAWW-I too would love to her Typhoon snoring! BUT glad Hu-Dad made him come in where it’s cool even though he didn’t think it was fair-lol
