With the warm weather upon us, Hu-Dad spent much of the weekend grooming us—except for one who objected to the instruments of torture.
We had a rainy weekend which trapped us inside. Plus, the warm weather has encouraged all of us to blow coat. So, Hu-Dad thought this was a perfect time to groom our coats. Most of us submitted. Most.
Our Little Price, who is so named because of his disdain of being touched by mere humans, was quite clear in his protests.
And, once again, Typhoon found something about his little brother that he didn’t like. Roscoe’s reaction to the brush was a wee bit different than Typhoon’s.
Movie Memory Monday
With our stormy weekend with lots of rain, lightning, and thunder, we thought of another storm a few years ago as our Chief of Security urged us to prepare—Security Before The Storm.

Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?

Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.
Lulu: “Dada says that as soon as he can find where he put Trixie’s grooming tools, I’m going to be seeing the business end of one of those. Whatever it is.”
Charlee: “Don’t worry, Lulu. We hid all that stuff.”
Chaplin: “Yes, we didn’t want him to get any funny ideas about using it on cats.”
This post was SO appropriate for me. Our big boy just got a well needed brushing yesterday and I think he is a combination of maybe Typhoon AND Roscoe! The Video too was so nice-yes I too miss Miss Kiska and Quannik aka Q-Tip-you are dearly missed.
Oh Roscoe! Your happy smiley beautiful face just melts my heart ????
And precious Miss Kiska and adorable Q-tip…. I really miss you two ❤️
