A simple evening walk was almost diverted into chaos and our resident expert explains how a Herd distraction could have happened.

The Herd was out for an evening walk. Birds singing. Sun setting. Not a cloud in the sky. And, yet, something sure caught our attention. Let’s check in with our expert for an analysis.

We were simply strolling along when a dastardly tree rat (you humans call them squirrels) darted across the road in front of us and up a tree. We wanted to give chase and explain how wrong that was, but Hu-Dad “suggested” we keep walking instead.

    As one who’s been brought “up close and personal” with many a tree because a squirrel has caught Izzy’s attention…. I say thank you for not making the hu-Dad airborne!

    Roscoe I have this picture in my mind of poor Hu-Dad flying along behind 5 huskies charging after that squirrel yelling stop I said, whoa I said whoa!! Funny in cartoons but probably not for Hu-Dad!!????
