Our Evening Walk Lobby

In all societies, we need a way to communicate our needs to those with control. In this case, our evening walk lobby is demanding their due.

The boys gather for the evening walk lobby of the Hu-Dad.

The boys gather for the evening walk lobby of the Hu-Dad.

Because Hurricane Michael was scheduled to bring us some evening rain, Hu-Dad decided to shift our walk from after to before dinner. We had a great stroll around the neighborhood and then a filling dinner.

Typhoon puts on a masterful face asking for a walk.

Typhoon puts on a masterful face asking for a walk.

Unfortunately for the Hu-Dad, canine logic says a pre-dinner walk does not replace an after-dinner walk. Thus, we began asking for our evening walk. The Hu-Dad tried logic, pleading and cajoling. Our answer was to protest the unfairness of it all.

How many among you could say no?

How many among you could say no?

When Hu-Dad continued to hold firm to his interpretations, we are afraid to admit that things got a wee bit ugly.

The riots were ugly.

The riots began.

We had a great after-dinner walk. How about you?

Me-I could NEVER say NO to those faces!!! I do it here with our big boy Bradley. If he gets an extra walk-it NEVER takes the place of the REAL one!!! LOVE this story and the pictures!!!!

Haha! Thanks! I donā€™t feel like the only softie for the ā€˜scheduled walkā€™ face. We donā€™t gave much rain weather but warmer temps mean earlier walks.

Oh, you had no chance with those looks and were so outnumbered. Was Cheoah just waiting it out, letting the boys do all the convincing?

Cheoah just sits and watches the antics, probably coaching from the sidelines.
