With rainy, cold weather outside, and dinner being prepared inside, Cheoah offered her services as Sous Chef to assist with the meal.
I can assist with the shredding of that chicken.
We had a steady rain all day yesterday. With the extreme drought and wildfires, we are so thankful for the rain and do not wish to complain. However, Hu-Dad said he kept tripping over dogs all day long because no one wanted to be outside.
Not a trip hazard.
As evening arrived, the rain halted and everyone went outside . . . except for Cheesewhiz who insisted on helping prepare the human dinner. Hu-Dad muttered his thanks to her many times.
I am the cutest Sous Chef anywhere.
Hu-Dad prepared a timelapse of one of the recent storms and posted it on his photography website. If you watch it really carefully, you can see a few of us make special guest appearances in his video.

In the old days the king of the castle, and seriously, I’m NOT inferring that that king is YOU hu-dad… but the king had a food taster just in case there was any funny business going on. I applaud CheeseWhiz for stepping up for the job!!!!
Yes Cheoah the official taster is willing to take one for the team!
Mom ‘n Ebby agree that: maybe Cheoah is traveling undercover as a food inspector, making sure everything is safe to eat. Chicken, especially, requires “close” inspection.
