After taking Natasha and Cheoah to our vet yesterday for their laser treatments, Hu-Dad has suggested that we all need better waiting room manners.
Notice in the above picture that Queen Natasha the Evil is higher than Cheoah. That would be because she is sitting on the waiting room couch. You know, just like at home. Hu-Dad suggested she could wait in the floor. Her response was typical of Her Highness and decidedly not repeatable on a family blog.
Cheoah, on the otherhand, was quite comfortable being on the floor. Entirely too comfortable. Just not exactly ladylike.
In fairness, both ladies received lots and lots of attention from the staff of Animal Hospital of Waynesville. Just as they always do (and, in their opinion, always should).

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Looking at the second picture, I’m reminded of a certain description. Something along the lines of, “More common is the ‘Don’t dare touch me’ growl, used when being brushed, told to move, corrected, etc.”
🙂
Ahhh, the Leg Corral. I’ve perfected that one as well.
Do thy doze when they get home like mine do? Laser is so relaxing and my vet uses it in conjunction with acupuncture at times.
My baby girl Keeta the Akita lived to sit with me on the bench too!
Mom sez: Seems they’re familiar enough with “their Clinic”, and feel completely comfortable, making themselves right at home. That’s a good thing, right there! At least they aren’t cowering in a corner, or trying to escape as soon as someone comes in or goes out.
