The real key to handling any type of work is not to think of it as work. Approach it with a very relaxed state of mind and those chores will suddenly seem as enjoyable as taking a nap.

Ah! That’s the problem. Fi and Abby seem to approach everything as work. Of course, there is the bonus that recovering foodables from the counter is also seen as work; much easier to look cute and wag tails until bits of the desired foodable are dropped directly into the waiting gaping maw by the extremely well-trained human. Of course, they is why they are an Ornamental Breed, rather than a working breed! π
