Ironing Clothes

As members of a working breed, we Siberian Huskies are very helpful around the house. We even handle ironing clothes.

See me work?

See me work?

The real key to handling any type of work is not to think of it as work. Approach it with a very relaxed state of mind and those chores will suddenly seem as enjoyable as taking a nap.

Aren't you exhausted just watching me work?

Aren’t you exhausted just watching me work?

So when Hu-dad lays a shirt across the couch, Cheoah can only assume that he wants it properly pressed. And gets right on it.

"Gets right on it." Yes, that's me.

“Gets right on it.” Yes, that’s me.

Mom sez: Ah, yes, I recognize that “well-pressed Siber look” on my clothes as well.

On the couch? You put it on the couch?

You deserve all the fur she added to it!

Ah! That’s the problem. Fi and Abby seem to approach everything as work. Of course, there is the bonus that recovering foodables from the counter is also seen as work; much easier to look cute and wag tails until bits of the desired foodable are dropped directly into the waiting gaping maw by the extremely well-trained human. Of course, they is why they are an Ornamental Breed, rather than a working breed! πŸ˜‰
