Typhoon has always been our free spirit – marching to his own drummer and creating his own mischief. But he also understands the power of brotherly love.
The weather gurus had been promising all week long that Sunday would be sunny and glorious. Considering the rest of the week had been rainy and foggy, that sounded wonderful. Unfortunately, the front stalled just west of us and Sunday remained cool and cloudy. That left a certain young dog looking for ways to entertain himself.
And this where the role of a big brother is so important. Frankie can be the calming influence. The wiser, older sibling. The fountain of wisdom.

Wings of Doom

A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Ebby sez: My Mom sez I’m a little too much like Typhoon — always looking for trouble. Please — we are Siberians. Isn’t that supposed to be our job?

I have always loved the mischievous instigator. Those are the pups I am drawn to. I think that is why I love the northern breeds so much. Typhoon sounds like a lot of fun!
