Challenge With Close-Ups

Getting good photographic close-ups is always a challenge, but the difficulty with canines can be particularly intense. Hu-Dad was over at our cousins’, Tartok and Ruby, house and was trying to take some close-ups.

Ruby loves attention and is a fairly easy photographic model. Hu-Dad was able to take many serious close-ups like the one above, and even some clown shots like below.

Ruby is the master of the sideways glance.

Tartok, however, was quite the challenge. He believes in more of a drive-by approach to snuggling, wandering the house and periodically appearing for attention. Hu-Dad took many photographs, but the best close-up he managed of Tartok was just a wee bit too close.

Omg that close up of Tartok was amazing. It made me laugh. Ruby is a very beautiful girl and I loved her pictures too. Hugs and kisses to the herd and to Tartok and Ruby.

I have just given myself a coughing fit I laughed so hard at the photo of Tartok, it’s brilliant, also loving Ruby’s sideways glance .

Mom sez: Tartok isn’t by any chance a blood relative of Typhoons, is he? Just wondering. That picture of Tartok is priceless!
