Looking through some pictures of last weekend, I realized that “little” Cheoah is really maturing. We think she is two years old now and still has much puppy exuberance, but she is learning to be much calmer on the drop line. As evidenced below:

Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?

Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.

Cheoah! Beautiful poses. Ginger Rogers quality. But then again, that’s what sibes do best…look pretty! You’re so lucky to have found a forever pack and just fit right in–well, with the exception of that one time, in downtown where you and Kiska had woofs and the boys were all “fight! fight! fight!” that’s the story that sticks out in my mind about you and makes me smile. It’s always good to make your human look like a goofball in public. In fact, I’ll bet you and Kiska share a drink of Evian over that story now and then…”remember the time we went ape-sh*t in the car downtown and everyone glared at Dad? Wasn’t that the funniest thing?” Ah…good times.

Just lovely. We know this is Cheoah’s day, but the Golden Girls wanted to leave a message for Kiska. They had totally forgotten about the strong women of the canine world who can hold their own in any p@#$ing contest around. They hold Kiska in high regard.
She is noble and beautiful. (but don’t tell her that I said that – she’ll get a big ego)!
