The Evidence

We all wear Keep Safe Break Away Collars from Chinook, but there is a problem.  Cheoah finds the collar to be an incredible tool during wrestling matches and the collar, as it supposed to, breaks away.  But then Cheoah has a new chew toy to work on until the humans catch her.  We have been through several collars off of Kodiak, but this is the first one off of Rusty’s neck.

Going to start ordering in bulk.  Sigh.

Oops. The only collars to bite the dust here were when I first adopted Mom and Dad. Mom tried to get me to wear a collar with pansies on it. PANSIES! I had to rip it to shreds myself. And the replacement pansy collar she bought, too. She finally got the message.

Guess our wrestling matches are a bit calmer. We also have those collars but have never lost one in a tussle. Clever Cheoah.

While I agree that the neck is a very good place to grab during wrestling, I usually just go for the neck skin/fur. I can drag Steve all over the floor like that.

well, you didn’t find royal blue and yellow poo in your dog yard today, like we did, did you? Our sweetie sibe got into the blue masking tape and yellow string that Mr. Wild Dingo was using for some construction work in the dog yard… it was lovely to “find” it again…

    Go Cheoah!

So what did they give us teeth for if not to chew?

Dotn know guys – i think your pawrents are going to have to cut back on nummies to pay for all these collar – you better be careful.

We wear martingdale collars Sweetie chews woodrow’s off ocasionally – and the idiot lets her – but they tend to eat the evidence

Great Job Cheoah! Do you each have your own signature color like AO4?

I used to chew off my own collars – that takes talent.

It looks like strong evidence to me. Convicted!

I never thought of that problem with breakaway collars. I don’t use them because I want to have a ‘handle’ that I can grab when I need to suddenly control a dog. But, don’t worry, we take their collars off when they’re alone.

Hmmm, Mom is thinking…. maybe leather? or is that even easier to chew off?
Poor Rusty, at least you got a new collar out of it, show it off!
