Cheoah Snow Slide

Yesterday, we posted about the way Natasha was memorizing this year’s snow by trying to smuggle a snowball home.  Today, Cheoah works on her patented Cheoah Snow Slide – her own way of remembering this winter.

Cheoah Snow Slide 1

The trick is to through the entire body into the slide.

Snow ears

And make sure that your ears are caked in that wonderfully cold snow.

Brothers

And don’t worry about how impatient your brothers are getting. Snow slides are not to be rushed.

Ahhhhhhh

Ahhhhhhhhh!

Ayla sez: My Dad, Ice does that all the time, too. Anytime there’s fresh snow on our back deck, he gets out there and makes his “Ice-Tracks” all over it, then down off the deck onto the lawn, and bury his nose in the snow. I think it’s fun just to bury my nose in the snow, and see how much I can pile up on my “beak”, as our hu-Mom calls our noses.

Never let the boys rush you, Cheoah! We like your style! 🙂

Ha! That’s adorable. I have one guy who does that, and slides/washes his face for HOURS!!!

My Husky Loki likes to do that in the sand here in Florida. I thought he was just nuts. Now I see it is a Sibe thing.. . Gosh there are lots of Sibe things!

Elmo my husky does that too. Very cute! Cheoah, show the boys how a snow slide is done. Young grasshoppers have much to learn.

My husky, Keeli does this and I wasn’t sure if it was a husky thing or not. Now I know! Keeli likes to bury her nose in the snow as she’s doing this, like making a tunnel!

Over here in Scotland that move is used for the speedy application of sweet fox scat on coat and side of face.

Then do pack happy dance when your person hugs you and you get that real good smell on them too.
