We had a snow day. More or less. Mainly less. But at least it snowed during our afternoon walk and we got to pretend for a bit.

The mountains just to the west of Asheville have received a good bit of snow this week. And, certainly, our friends in Tennessee did. We got about two hours of steady snow during our Friday afternoon walk.

A few hardy souls like us were out walking, but not many. This weekend is supposed to be bitterly cold with our highs on Saturday not expected to each 20ºF (-7ºC), so Hu-Dad suggested we take advantage of what we have.

So everyone out there stay warm. We’ll do our best to amuse Hu-Dad so he doesn’t get too bored.

P.S. After the sun went down and the temperatures dropped more, we played in the backyard. Hu-Dad didn’t try to take photos because, in the dark, he would have only captured blurs of craziness.

Lost in Fur: Tech Gone Wrong
March 21, 2025
Smart tech meets shedding chaos. My newest robovac takes on four Siberian Huskies—only to get hilariously lost in an avalanche of fur.
Looks like they had a great afternoon!!! I don’t think I went outside at all Friday, Saturday or Sunday
too cold here in KY.
6 degrees in Lewistown, Illinois with about 8 inches of snow. Aurora absolutely loves playing outside, and thanks to a parka, I enjoy taking her out and romping in the snow! Stay warm and cuddle those Huskies!
Good pics of the Herd, Hu-Dad! The high here in North Texas was 35, and the forecast low for tonight is 26. It’s warming up next week to more normal North Texas winter temps.
Love the Roscoe photo bomb ! We only got wind and cold. Was hoping for snow in the Triad !!
I miss watching my husky playing in the snow.
I’ll take freezin’ over fry’n and miss seeing Juno sleeping in a snow bed on my deck, on occasion.
Cold here in Mass; my husky Lola doesn’t understand why we can’t go walking today. Still some ice and bitter cold.; even Lola is glad to be inside!
It’s 19 degrees here in Delaware and snowed quite a bit yesterday BUT mixed with ice. The older dog Bradley isn’t faring too well getting around. I wish it would warm up but that’s wishful thinking. Stay warm and dry all!!!
Currently 10º this morning here in Asheville. Hu-Dad says brrrrrr. Stay warm.
Yes, here in Biltmore Park Town Square, Asheville, my husband checked this morning when we got up — 8 degrees and felt like -5 with the wind.
