When a canine sprawls in the grass, it’s usually Typhoon, but the other Trouble Brother tired of missing out, so here is a Roscoe Roll.
We’ve shared dozens and dozens of photos of Typhoon snoozing, rolling, or stretching in the grass of Chez Herd, but Roscoe decided he can’t let his brother have all the fun. Or maybe the grass has achieved the perfect spring thickness. Whatever the reason, we’ve spotted many a Roscoe roll the last few days.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Got that smile going on!!! Rub my belly please !!!!
Rolling is so much fun!! When the snow melts my girl then also enjoys the grass. Rolling in stinky things is super fun!!
Rolling in stinky stuff is, according to some experts, is to take the scent back to the pack, particularly if it’s something dead. Juno rolled in a dead fish at a lake once, yuck. It’s an interesting evolutionary trait that’s still in their DNA.
I can almost see the joy on Roscoe’s face as he rolls and rolls in the nice green grass!
