Frankie has long shown a special ability to remain even-keeled and calm despite the chaos that goes on around here at Chez Herd. We’ve long wondered how he maintained such focus, but this sneak photograph might finally show him achieving Frankie Suave Zen through meditation.

We can take many lessons from older dogs. I’ve had three who I rescued, literally off the street. They were so wise and loving. I swear they could read my mind.
