Landon’s motto is don’t look them in the eye because then you can pretend you didn’t hear them tell you not to do something.

I can't see you so I can't hear you - don't look them in the eye
I can’t see you so I can’t hear you.

Sometimes the Hu-Dad drones on and on and on about rules and behavior and other such nonsense. When it comes to humans, though, Landon says if you don’t look them in the eye, then you can claim you never heard them say anything. And, yes, he was in the middle of a woo at this point too.

    What a cute faceā€¦and yes, if you donā€™t see them you canā€™t hear them. Much like if you eat food off of someone elseā€™s plateā€¦the calories donā€™t count!! ?
