Rock And Roll Roscoe

In this behind the scenes look at life at Chez Herd, we explain how this smiling face earned the nickname Rock and Roll Roscoe.

A brand new nickname! - rock and roll Roscoe
A brand new nickname!

We all have so many nicknames. You may wonder how we earn them. We blame the Hu-Dad’s babbling and this is a perfect example. When we are invited “outside,” Roscoe always detours through the kitchen for a thorough inspection in case any crumbs need cleaning. Hu-Dad, trying to speed the slowpoke, said, “Let’s rock and roll, Roscoe.” For the last few days, that has been the go to name. Based on the smile, we think Roscoe likes the new nick.

In this horribly hot weather for NY, I can’t get Ruby to move!! Maybe I’ll try the Rock N Roll on her.
