In this behind the scenes look at life at Chez Herd, we explain how this smiling face earned the nickname Rock and Roll Roscoe.
We all have so many nicknames. You may wonder how we earn them. We blame the Hu-Dad’s babbling and this is a perfect example. When we are invited “outside,” Roscoe always detours through the kitchen for a thorough inspection in case any crumbs need cleaning. Hu-Dad, trying to speed the slowpoke, said, “Let’s rock and roll, Roscoe.” For the last few days, that has been the go to name. Based on the smile, we think Roscoe likes the new nick.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
What a cutie! I agree he loves his new nick name!!
But Hu-Dad does my added nickname come with any treats?? We nicknamed Max Roomba since he cleans up after his sister.
I’m with Jean.
In this horribly hot weather for NY, I can’t get Ruby to move!! Maybe I’ll try the Rock N Roll on her.
Just LOVE that smile Roscoe and I agree-he seems to love that new nick name!!!!
