It never fails. You gather everyone. Ask them to be on their best behavior. Then you snap the picture. There is always one in a family portrait.

A chance like this doesn’t present itself very often. Everyone together and behaving. No siblings poking at each other or instigating games. You whip out the phone, ask them to look at the camera, and take the photo before things fall apart. Only later do you discover the first ruleā€”there is always one in a family portrait.

P.S. – And, yes, there might have been treats involved.

For those new to our world, that would be His Royal Highness Little Prince Typhoon Phooey in the front left and his bestest brother (with the silly grin and eyes closed) Roscoe P. The happy smile in the back row comes from Landon (Boom Boom) and the upper right corner is Frankie Suave.

    Love this picture of your boys!! Actually the fact you only had to bribe the Prince is huge!! At least you didnā€™t have to bribe all 4 of them. Great picture even if Roscoe P has closed his eyes. ???
