A Big Step Forward

After all of our mess and mud from the backyard project, we were ready for a big step forward—and got it. These were delivered yesterday.

Boom Boom versus the machine-a step forward
Boom Boom versus the machine

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been through bulldozing and mountain building with dirt. Mostly, we’ve had lots and lots of fun with mud (though the humans seem less amused than us). Yesterday, though, we took a big step forward when the steps to our backdoor were delivered. They are a big improvement over the old wood ones, which were rotting anyway and needed replacing.

P.S. – For those who have fond memories of Rusty the Rooster (who, for newer readers, was a Siberian Husky and NOT a fowl), you know he would have been driving the tractor.

Where’s Boom boom’s hard hat and vest? Looks like he’s supervising.

I don’t remember Rusty the Roster but he sounds like a VERY cool dog. Good luck with the new steps and hope the herd likes them-lol!
